As a former educator, Troy is passionate about supporting his clients as they pursue long term success through financial planning and education. Using today's smart technology, Troy integrates a goal orientated process while guiding clients in the areas of asset allocation, diversification, protection and estate planning. As an independent financial planner, Troy has earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ and Accredited Asset Manager™ through the College of Financial Planning. Troy is a registered representative through LPL Financial holding both the Series 7 and 63 licenses. He is also an independent licensed insurance agent in the areas of Life, Long Term Care, Annuity and Variable Life.
Being an avid outdoorsmen and traveler, Troy celebrates wilderness as a necessity. Troy has backpacked around the world and enjoys the learning curve and challenges that comes with it. He is a pillar of his community and is active in his condo association, church and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities. In his free time, he enjoys teaching retirement and pre-retirement classes at Hennepin Technical College, spending time hiking, fishing and wandering in the wilderness with his wife Laura, daughter Daisy and loveable pup Rocket.
